Monocled Moose Studios ("we," "us," "our") operates the website monocledmoosestudios.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described below.
The Site is a static website with no accounts, no login, and no on-site forms. We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or other personal data directly through the Site.
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records standard server access logs when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps. This information is used for security monitoring and routine operations, and we do not combine it with other data to identify you personally.
If you email us directly (for example, through the contact address listed on our About page) we receive and retain the contents of that message along with your email address so we can respond. We use this information only to reply to your inquiry.
We do not set our own cookies, and we do not run analytics or advertising trackers on the Site. The Site loads the Inter webfont from Google Fonts, which is a third-party service; your browser's request to Google's servers is governed by Google's own privacy practices. No other third-party scripts are embedded on the Site.
Links from the Site may take you to third-party platforms such as Kickstarter, itch.io, DriveThruRPG, Steam, YouTube, or social networks. Those platforms have their own privacy policies and terms, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. We encourage you to review their policies before sharing data with them.
We use the limited information described above only to operate the Site, respond to messages you send us, and protect against abuse. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please email us at the address on our About page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period per their standard practices. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to maintain the conversation history. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
